Meet our new Director of Development

Link is pleased to announce that Christine Santee joined the school as Director of Development in February of 2012. In this capacity, Christine, with twelve years of experience in fundraising in both nonprofit organizations and independent schools, is responsible for fundraising strategy and major donor giving as well as supervising all donor relations, fundraising campaigns and special events for Link. Additionally, she will serve on the school’s administrative team.

Prior to Link, Christine was the Distinguished Events Director at the American Cancer Society where she worked to revive the society’s Bergen County Gala which had not occurred in over ten years. She also served as Director of Development at The Village School in Waldwick, New Jersey where she led the school’s Annual Fund, Auction and Gala, Major Gifts Program, and served as Parent Liaison. Christine began her career in Development as Assistant Director of Development at the National Down Syndrome Society in New York City, where she planned seven national fundraising events per year and helped to raise $1.5 million annually through special events. Christine holds both a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Master’s in Public Administration from Seton Hall University.

Maria Pilar Paradiso, head of school, states that “Armed with extensive special events and major gifts work, Christine brings much to our development effort and will provide strong leadership both in the development office and the school overall. We are excited to have her at Link. “
