Link observes Red Ribbon Week

Link students and staff are observing Red Ribbon Week, from October 23 through October 31. Red Ribbon Week is the oldest and largest drug prevention campaign in the nation.  During the week, student discussed drugs and addiction in advisory and decorated their classroom doors with special anti-drug use messages. Michelle Cerreta from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration spoke with students about the dangers of drugs.  She also participated, along with a few Link staff members, in judging the doors.  The doors were all great!  Congratulations to the winners: a three-way tie in the Upper House between Ujima, Haki, and Imani and in the Lower House, Team Chavez.
