Core Performance Standards
Link has developed and implemented the Core Performance Standards (CPS) in the areas of reading, communication, thinking, math, and values to be integrated throughout the school's academic program. Designed to insure that every Link graduate has the ability to perform a core set of skills in each area that are critical to success in high school and college, the CPS program aims to teach, develop, and assess specific skills in ways that are different from the more traditional methods, such as standardized tests and grades. The standards are taught in an interdisciplinary fashion across the entire curriculum with a shared and common approach. |
