Link Summer Academy Link's month-long summer semester called the Link Summer Academy, is required for all incoming 7th and new 8th grade students. Through the summer semester, Link aims to prepare inco  ming students with the necessary personal and academic foundation by introducing the school's culture of academic success; helping students meet select performance objectives in math and language arts; instilling a sense of community; and focusing on Link's Core Values. Through classes, enrichment activities, and field trips occurring in July, the Summer Academy strengthens the Link community by ensuring that all its participants -- faculty, staff and students -- are prepared and eager to learn during the upcoming school year. |
