Application Procedures
You can submit your child's admission application in one of the following ways:
- Download the following documents, complete them and mail them to Link Community School, 120 Livingston Street, Newark, NJ 07103:
- Application Form
This includes Student, Family and Financial information sections and requests a copy of the household's most recent W-2 and 1040 tax forms OR a letter from Public Assistance as income verification.
- Student and Parent Essay
- School Recommendation
Please give this form to your child's current teacher or principal to complete and return to you in a sealed envelope so you can mail it to Link Community School with the completed application.
- Transcript Release Authorization
Submit this form to your child's current school secretary or guidance counselor to request your child's Grade 5 & 6 report cards and standardized testing scores. For those applying to Link as 8th graders, the Grade 7 report card and test scores are also required.

The Application Form is online but you will need to download, complete and mail the other forms as noted above.
- Call the school (973-642-0529) and request an application packet be sent to you. You may either return it by mail or deliver it to the school in person.
PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS NO APPLICATION FEE As a result of the large volume of applications we receive each year, incomplete applications will not be considered. |
