Application Procedures and Documents


Application Documents

To be considered for admission, prospective students and their families must submit all of the following application documents:

 
  • Application Form which includes Student, Family and Financial Information Sections
  • 2007 W-2 and 1040 Tax Forms OR a letter from Public Assistance as income verification
  • Student Essay
  • Parent/Guardian Essay
  • School Recommendation
    Please give this form to your child's current teacher or principal to complete and return to you in a sealed envelope so you can mail it to Link Community School with the completed application.
  • Transcript Release Authorization
    Submit this form to your child's current school secretary or guidance counselor to request the required documents including Grade 5 & 6 report cards and Standardized Testing Scores (Grade 7 report card and Standardized Testing Score, if applicable).

    1.  Apply online by clicking the button below. Note: The Application Form is online, however you will need to mail the Student Essay and Parent/Guardian Essay as well as your 2008 W-2 and 1040 Tax Form OR a letter from Public Assistance to Link Community School. You will also need to download the School Recommendation and Transcript Release Authorization forms.

    • 3.  Call the school (973-642-0529) and request an application packet be sent to you. Complete the application and return it in person or by mail to Link Community School.

    Applications for the 2008-2009 school years are now being accepted on a rolling admissions basis.

    As a result of the large volume of applications we receive each year, incomplete applications will not be considered.
