School Nurse

Arlene has served as the school nurse at Link Community School for 18 years and worked for ten years prior to school nursing in private industry. She came to Link through Essex Regional Education Services, an agency which provides a wide range of services to students in the non-public schools. This year Arlene is on Link’s premises three days per week and then serves as school nurse at two other Newark schools. Over the years she has been assigned to other local schools such a Newark Boys’ Chorus, Calvary Christian School, St. Cassian School, and Newark Day Nursery. Early in her career, Arlene worked at St. Vincent’s Medical Center on Staten Island where she graduated from nursing school. She continued her studies at The College of Staten Island before moving to New Jersey.
