Composition and Literature Teacher, grade 8

Chisa Hutchinson was raised right here in Newark and is thrilled to be back home teaching motivated 13 year olds how to use language not typically found in text messages. Previously she taught at Westtown School, a Quaker boarding school in Westtown, PA and Sage Hill School in Newport, CA. When she is not in the classroom, Chisa is either watching actors rehearse in a theater in downtown Manhattan somewhere or working on a new play. Chisa earned her B.A. degree at Vassar College and M.F.A. from NYU.
