Head of Academic Program
Colin Greene is the Head of Academic Program at Link. He is responsible for all aspects of the academic program including curriculum, instruction, and assessment.
Previously, Colin was Director of Curriculum and Instruction with Sponsors for Educational Opportunity where he developed over 1000 pages of curriculum (lesson plans and handouts), managed over 30 instructors, and oversaw a rigorous academic supplementary education program serving over 200 New York City public school students.
More recently, Colin founded Aino Education, a supplementary education provider in Westchester County, New York. During Aino’s inaugural year, it has served over 20 clients throughout the tri-state area.
Prior to Aino and SEO, Colin taught English at Ward Melville High School, West Islip High School, and The Hudson School. During his teaching career, Colin taught over 600 students and developed original curriculum for over 20 individual courses. The best practices drawn from those years in the classroom have informed Colin’s tenure as an administrator.
Colin received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in English (with a specialization in Writing) from New York University in 1999. He went on to attain a Master of Arts Degree in Secondary English Education from Teachers College, Columbia University in 2001.
