High School Placement Resources

Parents and Guardians:

We are excited for this year’s High School Admissions Process.  Here is some important information to get you on the right track as our students prepare and apply to high schools.


Having a TUITION FREE high school option for your child is a very important option to have.  In order for your child to apply to Newark Magnet Schools (American History High, Arts High School, Bard High School Early College, Science Park High, Technology High, and University High) or Charter Schools (i.e. North Star Academy, KIPP NJ -TEAM Academy, People’s Prep, Great Oaks, etc.),  YOU MUST COMPLETE THE OneNewarkEnrolls Application. The Application will be available soon at:


In order to earn enough FINANCIAL AID/SCHOLARSHIPS for your child to attend Catholic high schools, you MUST COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING APPLICATIONS.  You can earn THOUSANDS of dollars for your child by applying to these programs:

An application packet was sent home on Friday, January 8th for you to complete and return to Mr. Silver by February 1st.

Your child must select THREE school from the list below before he/she takes the COOP Exam on November 11th. Your child will be asked to list them on the exam as schools he/she will apply to.
