Link celebrates the holidays
Students and their families participated in the annual Link Holiday Celebration. Ms. Sahirah Johnson's drama class performed a play, compiled from several monologues with the addition of some original writing, celebrating family, friends and their different cultures and religions. Interspersed between the acts of the play were songs by the Link Chorus led by Ms. Tonie Perry. The program ended with the lighting of the Kwanzaa candles with recitations on the meaning of Kwanzaa by students and a fellowship dinner provided by parents.
