Link to Home is Link’s parent newsletter and it includes important dates, reminders, class activities, student awards, and announcements. Students take Link to Home in their Parent Communications Envelope (purple plastic envelope) every Friday (or the last day of the school week.) Click here for the latest issue.

2016-2017 LCCS Uniform Dress Code
All students must be attired in the appropriate school uniform daily. There are no exceptions. The regular uniform (shirts, slacks, skirts and walking shorts) are to be purchased through Flynn & O’Hara and the physical education uniforms, through the school’s Main Office. The Flynn & O’Hara Newark store is located at 196-198 Ferry Street. Check their website for store hours. There have been changes to the uniform for the 2016-2017 school year.Click here for the policy.

Drop Everything and Read (D.E.A.R.)
On Wednesdays, students participate in a 20 minute Drop Everything and Read period. At the same time, teachers are reading an education related article selected for them. We offer you the same articles to read in the hope that you might learn more about the world of education and/or ways to help your child succeed in school. Here are the articles:

Link Parent Association (LPA)
The Link Parent Association (LPA) holds monthly meetings to REddiscuss parent issues and plan activities. All parents are welcome to attend the meetings and participate in LPA activities as well as attend LPA educational sessions. Click here for the LPA’s bylaws, adopted 11/13/14.

Link encourages each parent/guardian to stay on top of their child’s academic progress. At the start of the school year, a letter was sent home to each family with the log-in information to access your child’s grades on PowerSchool. Use that information to log into PowerSchool here.
