Antoinette Perry, Music and Spanish Teacher

Antoinette Perry joined Link in 2004 as the Music and Spanish teacher. She holds a B.A. from Shaw University and has enhanced her education with continuing studies at Keuka College, Boston State College, Boston University, In Lingua Language Institute and Stockton University's theater arts workshops. She has taught in Massachusetts, New Jersey and most recently, Puerto Rico. Antoinette helped rewrite curriculum for the Newark and Glen Ridge Public Schools. She has conducted reading workshops for parents to teach them how to read to their children effectively as well as coordinated and run summer enrichment programs. In addition to her career in education, Antoinette is a performing artist, a jazz and blues singer (with credits in Playbill as the understudy for Lady Day) and she has had singing engagements all over the world. Also, she toured the U.S. as American Tennis Association competitor, although now plays tennis for recreation only.
