La Toro Yates, M.B.A., M.I.S., Director of Admission and High School Placement

La Toro Yates joined the Link staff during the 2007-2008 school year as Director of Admission and High School Placement. He has over 10 years of Enrollment Management experience, nationally recruiting for Saint Peter's College and William Paterson University -- having successfully increased applications, admission and enrollment of African American students at each institution. He has taught for 8 years as a professor in the MBA program at St. Peter's College. La Toro holds a B.S. in Accounting, M.B.A., and M.I.S. from St. Peter's College. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Higher Education, Leadership, Management and Policy at Seton Hall University. La Toro coached high school football for 10 years at his alma mater, Lincoln High School, helped create a homework-to-play program at the Salvation Army in Jersey City and is a motivational speaker at churches, schools and camps.
